FAQ:
How much time do I need for an Apotherapy session?
It takes about 10 minutes to locate the main problem area, and additional time to work and resolve the disorder. Usually an injury area requires ~30 minutes of Apotherapy to produce a good result. You may have a shorter or longer complete session (close to 100% improvement) depending on the condition and total related surface area. At the end of each treatment, we may close the session with more than ten minutes of herbal and mineral treatment if needed.
Can I preset my total Apotherapy treatment time to my budget?
Yes, just like massages, a lengthier treatment time will increase the fee according to the going rates. You may need to return for a touch up if your present treatment time does not resolve your disorder completely. For first timers who are not referred by honest people acquainted with Jane’s Apotherapy, we advise that you do not request a long session. Please wait for the initial medical disorder to be resolved before we start on another area. You are only given a treatment when you are willing. For people that do not live in New York, a complete session will be more worthwhile. Jane’s Apotherapy will only improve your condition or enhance your bodily strength. For sports injuries, the treated areas will be healthier and stronger than before your injuries. You get better athletic performance too.
Do I need to bring a diagnosis with me for an Apotherapy session?
No, you don’t have to; Bring it only if you have one ready. If you have a broken bone or 100% tear condition (you are not able to move), then you will need X-rays and maybe also surgery from an orthopedic doctor or surgeon that we work with. Jane’s Apotherapy is also a very useful diagnostic tool. Sometimes it can even locate problem areas that X-rays cannot provide. Increased accuracy in your diagnoses will benefit you if it does not hurt to have it done.
How many Apotherapy sessions do I need for a complaint disorder?
Usually you will be able to judge the improvement during and after the first session. After about a week, if a deeper layer area is still not 100% better, you will probably need one or more additional sessions. For injuries, if you are sure that your pain is completely gone before you walk out our door, one session is usually all you need.
How long will the improvement last from Jane’s Apotherapy?
Massage only provides temporary relief, Jane’s Apotherapy provides permanent relief unless you reinjure yourself. For conditions that are built by your own body (not by injuries), you may or may not need more than one treatment to clear all related causes. Jane’s Apotherapy pain cure means pain is no longer there after you utilize the treated area! The other treatments may make you feel better, but you will still know that the issue is not resolved if you trigger the symptom again.
What do I need to do before an Apotherapy treatment?
It’s better that you do not take any pain medication the day of your Apotherapy session. This way you will be able to feel the location of all the problem areas and how much better the pain is during and right after the treatment. You should also eat your regular meals prior to the treatment so you have energy. The treatment may be similar to a very good physical workout.
Can I get back to my daily routines right after an Apotherapy session?
Yes, definitely, you can even go right back to playing sports or completing your daily routines if you feel fully recovered with full range of motion. You may avoid overworking the treated area for a day or two if it’s still tender from the treatment. Temporary redness may occur on the treated area demonstrating that the obstruction has been cleared out. It will fade right after a session or within a week according to the treated area’s blood circulation and your condition. If you have a disorder, toxin, congealed blood deposit or stasis under the treated area, it will be raised to the skin surface for resolving. Excessive deposits may appear like hickeys or bruises (similar to cupping therapy) during the blood flow resolving process. However, the ending result will be smoother, healthier and younger looking skin.
When should I get an Apotherapy session?
You should get an Apotherapy session anytime you experience an acute or chronic medical condition. It is better to act sooner than later to save yourself any unnecessary suffering. Irritations from tension, improper manual work, or needles may worsen your conditions. Frequent cortisone or steroid injections may lead to tissue degeneration. Tissue damage and internal bleeding caused by acupuncture needles often leads to increased blood clot deposits, lumps, and scar tissue formations. Nerve tissue damage through needles will unwittingly lead to aggravating numbness and neuropathy. These sometimes require additional time for the Apotherapy to resolve, especially in the case of repetitive multiple nerve and deep tissue damage caused by acupuncture needles. For a practice that requires frequent visits sometimes weeks, months, or even years, most of the time your body will heal by itself. But healing may not be the same as curing. If you feel your conditions coming back from time to time, that means it was never cured.
What if I already had a surgery?
Jane’s Apotherapy can clear scar tissue, adhesion, swelling, edema, or post surgery pain. If your surgery does not improve your condition completely, Jane’s Apotherapy may still do corrections for you. The Apotherapy work is easier if no surgeries have been done. If you have artificial implants, Apotherapy treatment can help release blockage build up around the implants, relieving pain or stiffness.
Do you accept medical insurance?
We accept FSA and HSA. For medical insurance, we don’t deal with your insurance providers. You will get a receipt for your own reimbursement. Apotherapy can be worthwhile regardless of insurance coverage, mainly because your ailment may be cured within one session. For many medical conditions aside from surgeries, Apotherapy may be the only cure.
RE: Jane’s Apotherapy (the best alternative therapy)
–There may or may not be some temporary skin redness after Jane’s Apotherapy (not massage) treatment. Results will vary depending on your treated areas’ condition. You may request for a lighter pressure treatment which will reduce the redness. But the results may not be a complete cure even if we try the best you can take to achieve the results. More treatment temporary redness and debruise means a better detox cleansing (e.g. cupping therapy).
–Jane is the alternative therapy treatment expert. She cured many people that no other specialists could. Jane’s Apotherapy can only improve your medical conditions. But we do not guarantee that one treatment will cure all symptoms and causes for everyone. A treatment cure relies on total treatment time (which will defer depending on the conditions of the ailment), not on the number of treatments. People with medical conditions will be eligible to have a consultation. You get the full Apotherapy session only if you like it.
–More than 99% of our Apotherapy clients are happy with the immediate treatment results every time. Once in a while a new client comes in with the intention for a free treatment. For people who are dishonest about treatment results to avoid payment because insurance will not cover your fees, you will miss the chance to get another treatment. Jane’s Apotherapy may still be the only cure for you next time. The service provided to you with hard work, energy, and time is not tangible like refundable merchandise. As it is with all other healthcare providers, the fee is not based on the perceived outcome. Our fee is based on time taken to achieve the desired result which is located on the rate chart, regardless the clients’ honesty about the treatment results.
